What HACCPlan is
A guided writer for one document — a restaurant's HACCP plan — and the SOPs and blank records that go with it.
HACCPlan writes a food safety plan for a restaurant by asking the person who runs it about their own kitchen. There is no template to fill in and no blank page. Sage, the guide inside the app, asks one short question at a time and builds the document from the answers.
It is a writer, not a monitoring system. It produces documents; it does not watch your fridges, run your checklists or track your staff's shifts. That boundary is deliberate and it is worth knowing before you start, because a lot of software in this category does the opposite.
Who it is built for
- Restaurants — full service, quick service, diners, grills, pizza, breakfast
- Cafés and coffee shops serving food
- Food trucks, trailers, carts and mobile units
- Delis, takeout counters and ghost kitchens
- Conventional catering operations
- Start-ups opening a first location
Who it is not built for
Food manufacturing, processing, co-packing and importing. Anything needing a process authority or a variance — eighteen special processes are screened early and a yes stops the conversation. And Canada: plans are built against the US FDA 2026 Food Code only, and a Canadian kitchen is offered a waitlist rather than a plan.
