Restaurant HACCP plans
Canadian restaurants:
not yet, and here’s why.
Today HACCPlan builds restaurant HACCP plans for US kitchens on the 2026 FDA Food Code. The builder asks how your kitchen actually runs and writes the plan, SOPs and logs against that baseline. If you run a US restaurant, it is ready for you now.
A Canadian restaurant is a different job. You answer to your province’s food premises regulation and your local health unit, and if you are federally registered, to the CFIA under the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations. I run a CFIA-licensed facility in Brantford, Ontario myself, so I know the two rulebooks do not line up and I am not going to ship a Canadian version by swapping the word “FDA” for “CFIA” and calling it done. It gets built properly, and I am not putting a date on it.
If you want to know when it is ready, leave your email below. That is the whole list — the same one the app offers Canadian kitchens at intake.
