Meet Sage
She asks about your kitchen. You end up with a plan.
Sage is the tutor inside HACCPlan. She asks one short question at a time — out loud if you want — and writes your food safety plan from your answers. No food safety vocabulary needed, and every question comes with a line on why it matters.
These are short sessions with her, free and without an account. Each one ends with something you keep.
- 139
- questions she can ask about a kitchen — these sessions use a handful each
- 229
- dishes she already knows by name, each one reviewed and classified
- about an hour
- for the full plan, once you decide to build it

about 3 minutes
Can I help you?
Three minutes and you will know whether I can write your plan, what it would cover, and whether anything on your menu needs a specialist instead. I would rather tell you no now than take your money.

What does your menu need?
Tell me what you cook and I will tell you which records your kitchen actually has to keep — and which of my free logs to print tonight. I work it out from your dishes, not from a generic checklist.

What happens to what you tell her
It stays in your browser.
Your answers are saved on this device and nowhere else. Close the tab, come back next week, and Sage picks up where you left off. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you type an email at the end and ask her to.
She will tell you if she cannot help.
Sous vide, curing, fermenting for safety, sushi rice held at room temperature — seventeen processes need a specialist to sign them off. Sage screens for them early and says so, rather than selling you a plan that cannot be finished.
Sage builds plans for restaurants in the United States against the FDA 2026 Food Code. Canada is not supported yet. Local authorities can require more than the Food Code, and no regulator has approved, certified or guaranteed any document she produces.
